Abundance Haddington at Farmer’s Market No comments yet

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated apples to our Abundance project and to all the lovely folk who took home the delicious fruit at yesterday’s Farmer’s Market. It was great to meet so many people who agree with our cause, and even better that so many of you want to help!

This project is by no means over, we have 5 boxes of apples left over from our market harvest which will be distributed to Knox Academy, Haddington Day Centre and Tynepark. We also have several trees that are still laden with fruit, which we intend to harvest and hand out to the community. If you work/volunteer for a local organisation who could use apples please let us know. Likewise if you would like to join our team and come apple picking you are more than welcome.

We are hoping to have a ‘jam session’ at some point in the near future where we will get together for a spot of cooking using some of our harvest. Watch this space!!
