Swift Boxes installed No comments yet
The swift boxes have been installed on John Muir House, front and back, just in time for the arrival of the swifts – hopefully they’ll be put to good use. If you look under the eaves of the first picture – that is them! The other picture shows them being installed above the front entrance. Sadly no pictures of Abbie in the cherry picker though!
We still have a twin box and two single boxes, so if anyone has a suitable property and would like to put them up, please do get in touch. If your the box will be over-hanging someone else’s ground, you’ll need to ask them first as well (this includes public ground such as pavements). Email convenor@sustainablehaddington.org.uk

The Council and the Sustainable Haddington community group have got together to welcome back the town’s swifts from their winter break in Africa by providing nesting boxes at John Muir House, Council’s HQ.
