We’ve bagged it!!

Today at around 10.30am we found out that our application for £3750 from the East Lothian Council Community Wellbeing Partnership was approved! A HUGE thank you goes to ELC’s Tom Shearer for his support, and for presenting our application before the Cabinet so quickly, and to Councillor Paul McLennan for speaking up in our favour.

These funds will allow us to forge ahead with this campaign and start the process of making Haddington plastic bag free. We hope to finalise a design for the town bag in the next few weeks and to complete the retailer survey.
