About us

Sustainable Haddington is a recently established group made up of volunteers from the Haddington area. What we have in common is a belief that the challenge of climate change and sustainable living can be met by community action. 

Our aims

Our aims are to be a vehicle for local action on climate change and sustainable living in the Haddington area. More formally, our constitutional objectives are: 

• the advancement of environmental protection through the development and promotion of sustainability projects for Haddington and its community,
• the reduction of fuel poverty and advancement of education & community development through promotion of sustainability issues,
• to carry on any other activities which further any of the above objectives.

We’re actively looking to reach as many local people as possible, so if you’d like to come along to any of our series of events, either to help or enjoy, you’d be very welcome.
